Dice and fish and crafts
Silicone Molds for Polyhedral Dice Sets - THESE ARE SO TEMPTING. I haven't done resin casting in a couple years and it'd be great to play around with it again and make something that I can use regularly and could gift to my D&D buddies.
The only thing is that we're not exactly lacking in dice resources and I can't think of any designs/color combos that would be so special, I couldn't find other people making them with more skill. In that sense, it's kind of a waste.
What I'd really like is a mold for FATE dice (6 sided dice with two pluses, two minus signs, and two blank sides). Or dice molds with marks other than numbers. My brother's girlfriend had a set of Convention-exclusive dice with things like weather, time of day, and NPC moods for rolling up on-the-fly game details, and I'd love something similar. The molds linked would be good for making dummy dice I could mod and cut into without fear, and that's about it.
But oh, it would be so much fun.
In other news, I added a cory catfish to my 10 gallon freshwater tank, bringing the total inhabitants up to the max 3:

My betta normally hides from the camera, but he consented to hanging in place for some shots this time around. The cory is so hyper and energetic, it makes the betta look like a sleepy rock most of the time. They all seem to be doing well together, which is great.

Some (blurry) photos of the squares for the blanket I'm making with my pin loom. It's gonna take me a good while to make, since they're only 4x4 inches and I want a decently sized blanket, but the nice thing about the pin loom is I can knock out two to three squares a day while I'm watching other stuff.
In the grand scheme of things, I think I still love doing crochet most of all, but it does require a little more direct attention.
I was completely out of it at work today, which I never enjoy from an emotional standpoint. I spent most of my time reading stuff on my phone. The only thing assuaging my guilt is that everyone else in the office seemed out of it, too, and all went home way early.
Time to settle in with Critical Role.
