justboltsOK! I've been home since Thursday and doing good. Steadily been getting back to my normal self and normal habits. (Even some writing, yeah!) Thank you, thank you to everyone for your kind words and support! You're all the best!
Watched "Crisscross" last night, which was SO AWESOME and not at all because I was hyped on pain meds. Arcee makes me so happy, I just want to shove her in my mouth. I really, really hope *SPOILER* becomes part of the regular cast, that would make me the happiest Bolts ever.
This Tuesday, Nuts and I are going to the midnight showing of "Dark of the Moon". Oh god I'm both looking forward to it and stoically cynical over much it may end up sucking, but I was the same way before "Revenge of the Fallen" and even though it did suck in so many ways, I came out of the theater with a full chest of hair and ready to punch things out of sheer adrenaline and testosterone fueled joy.
Seriously, Nuts and I were beside ourselves for HOURS and I think it was two days later before we finally calmed down and went "wow, that was kind of actually balls, wasn't it?". (And then I started ready fanfic with Sam and Bee banging and the whole fandom thing went off from there.) But now we have awesome Rifftrax to re-watch RoTF with to make it awesome again, and I know the boys will before there for us again with DoTM.

I think that one thing that teh Bayverse movies DO have going for them is sheer adreneline. They don't hold up particularly well when you actually THINK about the plots, but.... SFX, music, and adreneline? Oh yeah, we're good there.

Yeah, they totally survive on sheer "FUCK YEAH!!!" factor. But then, they also have these little tidbits of interest that I still wish they'd woven into coherent plots and character building. Alas
